KICSS 2026 marks the twenty-first edition of the leading international forum on knowledge management, intelligent information systems, and creativity in computing. After two decades, the conference returns to Southeast Asia for the first time in Bangkok—a city where gilded temple spires rise beside glass towers, and centuries of artisan tradition meet world-class research institutions.
We invite original research contributions spanning knowledge engineering, cognitive science, computational creativity, decision support, and human–AI collaboration.
The conference welcomes work across—and between—the following areas. Cross-disciplinary and emerging-topic submissions are especially encouraged.
Keep this calendar within reach. Specific dates will be stamped here once confirmed by the organizing committee.
krung thep maha nakhon — "the city of angels"
A delegation arrives. Tuk-tuks idle outside a saffron-robed temple courtyard while, two blocks away, a research lab presents a paper on cognitive architectures. This is Bangkok—a city where knowledge is layered, contested, and constantly remixed.
KICSS 2026 returns the conference to Southeast Asia, situated among Wat Arun's spires, the Chao Phraya's quiet boats, and a research community that bridges the poetic and the precise.
Original research papers on knowledge systems, computational creativity, decision support, and human–AI collaboration.
